- using geometry nodes instead of the particle system makes it easy to render 10x the number of points because the points in geometry nodes can be rendered directly which is not the case with the particle system, where you need an object as an instance, the simplest object you can use is a triangle plane which is 3 vertices so multiply that by the number of particles, and blender will slow down vs GN
- used eevee to render this, cycles requires abit more samples to remove noise
